Set Design – Live Visuals
In collaboration with Petra Sidler (Studio Sidler), the set design for the short film production "Overboil" was created. The short film portrays the daily life of a single mother and the resulting challenges, shaped by societal expectations, family attitudes, and unfortunate everyday circumstances. In close collaboration with the director Zoe Rodoreda, the identities of various scenarios and locations were developed, including in Liestal, Pratteln, and Basel. With a great team, we staged places such as Hotel Silo (Basel) as part of the family's residence, private spaces as the dramatic set for everyday events, an industrial area as an urban cityscape, and the stage of Theater Scala (Basel) as the dance stage for the final closing scene.
The images show excerpts from the production period in the summer of 2023. The short film "Overboil" will be released in May 2024.
In Zusammenarbeit mit Petra Sidler (Studio Sidler) entstand die Gestaltung des Set Designs für die Kurzfilm Produktion "Overboil". Der Kurzfilm stellt den Alltag einer alleinerziehender Mutter und die daraus resultierenden Probleme, geschaffen durch gesellschaftliche Erwartungen, familiäre Haltung und unglückliche Alltagsumstände dar. In engem Austausch mit der Regisseurin Zoe Rodoreda entstanden die Identitäten der verschiedenen Szenarios und Spielorte unter anderem in Liestal, Pratteln und Basel. Mit einem tollen Team inszenierten wir Orte wie das Hotel Silo (Basel) zum Teil des familiären Wohnorts, private Räumlichkeiten zum dramatischen Set von Alltagsgeschehnissen, ein Industrieareal zum urbanen Stadtraum und die Bühne des Theater Scala (Basel) zur Tanzbühne der finalen Abschlussszene.
Die Bilder zeigen Ausschnitte während der Produktionszeit im Sommer 2023. Der Kurzfilm "Overboil" wird im Mai 2024 publiziert.
